Terms of Service for WoofSense

Effective Date: 22 June 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you" or "user") and WoofSense Inc. ("we," "us," or "WoofSense") regarding your use of the WoofSense mobile application ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

• You may access WoofSense only through authorized sign-in methods: Google, Apple, or Facebook.
• You may optionally complete a profile, which may include your name or alias, your dog’s name, and other non-sensitive details.
• You are responsible for any content (e.g., audio/video uploads) you provide and ensure that you have the right to use it.

2. User-Generated Content

• WoofSense allows users to upload or record audio and video files of their dogs' barking to analyze emotional patterns.
• You retain ownership of your uploaded content. By submitting content, you grant WoofSense a limited license to use, analyze, and process the content solely for providing app functionality.
• You agree not to upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.

3. Scientific Basis Disclaimer

• WoofSense is developed based on ongoing research in canine behavioral science and sound recognition.
• The App uses AI models trained on real-world and research-informed data.
• However, the App is not a veterinary tool or diagnostic service. Interpretations of your dog’s emotions are illustrative and for informational purposes only.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

• Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the GDPR and local Armenian regulations.
• You may request account deletion and associated data via in-app settings or by contacting privacy@woofsense.app.

5. Children

• The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.

6. Account Termination

• WoofSense reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, especially if you violate these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available."
• WoofSense makes no warranties about accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the content or analysis.
• We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the App.

8. Changes to the Terms

• We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or via email.
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Yerevan, Armenia.
